中国台湾网12月27日消息：据台媒报道，台湾昨晚一连发生3次有感地震，规模不但是今年最大，也是南台湾的恒春地地区百年来首见；目前已有3栋民房倒塌，至少2人死亡，受伤人数也上升到38人。

Strong Earthquake Shakes Taiwan

　　Two earthquakes, registering magnitude 7.2 and 6.7 on the Richter Scale, struck off the southwest coast of Taiwan on Tuesday evening, causing damage and at least one death; however, despite early fears and precautionary warnings, no tsunami was triggered.

　　The epicenter of the first quake was just 15 kilometers from the coast of Taiwan. Local media reports that cracks appeared in many streets in the southern city of Pingtung and a major bridge was damaged.

　　The quake was felt throughout Taiwan. It swayed buildings and knocked objects off the shelves in Taipei, in the northern part of the island.

　　In Fujian Province on the Chinese mainland, which lies opposite Taiwan, a spokesperson from the local earthquake bureau, Yang Xiaoning, rules out the occurrence of a large earthquake in the region though it also felt a tremor.

　　多条海缆中断 大陆网民无法正常访问国际网站

　　据中央电视台报道，记者从中国电信和中国网通证实，由于昨晚中国台湾南部海域强烈地震，中美海缆“亚太一号”、“亚太二号”海缆、亚欧海缆等多条国际海底通信光缆发生中断，中断点在台湾以南十五公里的海域，造成大陆的网民无法正常访问国际网站，同时中国大陆至台湾地区、美国、欧洲等方向的通信线路也受到影响。

　　从今日凌晨起，有来自北京、重庆、武汉等多地网通、电信用户反映，无法正常访问国外网站，包括雅虎在内的多家国际知名网站均无法正常访问，MSN等IM也无法正常登陆。中国网通以及中国电信集团公关处人士，均于9:00证实，昨晚台湾地区的地震影响到内地出口光缆，造成国内访问国外网站故障。中国电信和中国网通正在积极联系境外的合作运营商，采用卫星备份等多种方式抓紧修复，预计影响还将持续一段时间。
