School Houses

Hello, my name is Phoenix, I'm a Harry Potter fan. As we all know, there are four colleges in Harry's school Hogwarts. They are Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin and Hufflepuff. My question is: do universities in Britain also have colleges like in Hogwarts? Thank you!

In the Harry Potter films, Harry, Hermione and Ron are all part of Gryffindor house in Hogwarts.
Do normal British schools have houses too, or is it just the magical ones?
