The actress, who played Neytiri in the first instalment of the James Cameron movie franchise, said that shooting the second and third movies needed to happen "at the same time".

　　Speaking on tonight's (May 4) edition of The Jonathan Ross Show, the Star Trek Into Darkness actress said: "I think that they're doing a part two and a part three and they're probably going to shoot it at the same time.

　　Saldana also confirmed that shooting will begin early next year. It was recently revealed that the first sequel to the 2009 movie won't be released until at least 2015.
