A Romanian passenger plane made an emergency landing in western Romania Saturday and all the passengers escaped unharmed.

　　The SAAB 2000, carrying 47 passengers and four crew members, took off from the Moldovan capital city Chisinau for Timisoara, local TV station Realitatea said.

　　The plane, belonging to the Romanian company Carpatair, circled Timisoara International Airport for about two hours after the landing gear got stuck, in order to use up its fuel to prevent a potential fire.

　　The plane landed using only the main landing gear on the bed of foam spread by fire fighters.

　　About 20 ambulances and fire engines were waiting for the plane on the ground and the airport was closed temporarily after the incident.

　　Carpatair President Nicolae Petrov said the passengers were stressed, but none was in shock.

　　The Romanian Transportion Ministry has started an investigation into the accident.

　　Airline officials said the problem was likely at the plane's undercarriage, but the plane has not suffered any major damage.

　　Carpatair, established in 1999 and based in Timisoara, operates services to more than 30 destinations in Europe.

　　据罗马尼亚现实电视台报道，一架起落架无法放下的小型客机28日上午在罗马尼亚西部的蒂米什瓦拉机场成功迫降，机上4名机组人员和47名旅客均安然无恙。

　　这架50座ＳＡＡＢ2000型小型客机属于罗马尼亚喀尔巴阡山航空公司，当天早上从摩尔多瓦首都基希讷乌起飞，原定于当地时间8时05分（北京时间14时05分）降落。

　　当发现起落架出现故障后，客机开始在机场上空盘旋，以消耗油料，为迫降作准备。同时，地面人员往跑道上喷洒防火泡沫，以防止飞机迫降时起火和爆炸。机场方面还调集了20辆消防车和救护车准备救援。在长达1小时40多分钟的空中盘旋后，飞机最终成功迫降。

　　据报道，旅客目前已全部离开飞机，且未发现有人受伤。据悉，机上正副机长驾龄均超过10年。
